Experience
I bring a decade’s worth of experience. In this time I have attended almost 400 births.
Training & Certification
I am certified through New Beginnings Doula Training. I have also trained through DONA. And have done additional programs including Spinning Babies, rebozo training with Gena Kirby, & Know Your Rights through Birth Monopoly.
Two Prenatal Meetings
We meet twice during pregnancy. All meetings are held in the privacy of your own home or through Zoom if you prefer a remote option (or live really far away!) The first meeting is focused on birth plan writing. During the second meeting we talk about what to expect from birth & ways to cope with labor.
Optional Postpartum Visit
After baby arrives I can pop in for a quick check in with your family. We can discuss your birth & any questions you have on nursing & postpartum healing. I can provide referrals for lactation support if they seem to be needed.
Private Online Portal
Every client receives access to their own portal. The portal contains resources on topics like birth plan writing, postpartum prep, and what to do during labor as well as many others. All resources are interactive. It also includes a birth plan template.
Day Of Support
When baby is ready to come I offer phone support throughout early labor & then physical support once contractions feel strong & regular. This can look like hip squeezes, complimentary TENS unit rental, talking you through contractions, helping you advocate in your birth space, & providing loving support to both you & your partner.

Investment-$1500

This discount is for anyone who has served, whether active or veteran. Cannot be combined with any other discount.

This is a discount program designed to encourage clients to receive out-of-hospital services that I know can improve birth outcomes. Each service employed can get you a $100 discount. You can combine each with other discounts listed up to a total of a $300 discount. There are more details listed on the Healthy Pregnancy Initiative page on this site.
Can I use my insurance to pay for your services?
Maybe! It really depends on your particular insurance. Clients who are employed through Boeing & Wal-Mart have been able to receive reimbursement for my services. If insurance does not cover doulas it is possible you could use your HSA/FSA to cover it!
